Signature Research employs a first-principles physics-based approach to signature prediction efforts. Whether modeling Electro-optical (EO), Infrared (IR), Hyperspectral, or Radio Frequency (RF) signatures, our staff uses the best available state-of-the-art predictive codes. Our expert modelers and analysts understand the capabilities and most importantly, the limitations of these predictive codes. In cases where gaps exist in COTS/GOTS modeling codes, our staff develops new predictive and augmentation tools to bridge the gaps in order to produce much more realistic and accurate signatures. This fundamental understanding of what’s important in the rendered signatures is key in the development of Automated Target Recognition (ATR) Algorithms, Machine Learning (ML) algorithms, Signature Replica (SR) systems, and signature augmentation tools.
