Computer Aided Design (CAD) Modeling

SGR’s employs industry standard software tools and best practices to develop signature and manufacturing models to support much of our work. These include SOLIDWORKS, Rhino, Blender, and Modelman. SOLIDWORKS is used to develop manufacturing designs at the part, assembly, and system level to support model-based manufacturing processes as well as signature CAD model development. Rhino is used extensively to mesh solid models for rendering in EO/IR/RF bands. Blender is used extensively to produce animations as well as to produce APIs that can interface with signature rendering tools. Finally, Modelman is used to visualize target models and produce facet files for RF signature renders in Xpatch. SGR sfaff have over 100 years of combined experience in CAD modeling.
