In 2023 Signature Research realized that our Warfighters were training on outdated, non-signature compliant threat systems. Threat systems in the field may look “compliant” but lacked the signature fidelity to adequately test and train the machine and operator. This “negative training” was a cause for concern and forced us to provide the Warfighter with a better option:
Signature Research took the bold step to produce a full-scale threat system on its own accord that not only possesses a fully compliant (and USG validated) signature but at a cost and rate that eclipses the current offerings. This choice demonstrated what a small business with a little motivation is capable of.
Today, Signature Research is proud to be a key supplier to the United States Air Force of validated threat surrogates. Our threat systems are unmatched in industry and provide the Warfighter the most realistic training assets on the market today.
Cost-Effective Prototyping
Growing To Meet the Needs of the Customer
In response to the increased demand of validated signature surrogates Signature Research has established over 12,000 square feet of manufacturing space to support fabrication of these systems. Our manufacturing facility can support multiple builds while accommodating the specific requirements of each additional system. This facility enables Signature Research to provide a comprehensive end to end solution to our customers for test and training needs (signature analysis, mechanical design, fabrication, and test)
